Sundays
at Hope.

Every Sunday at 10.30am at Admaston House Community Centre. About ninety minutes, and you will be home in good time for lunch.

No dress code.
No pressure.

Come in, sit wherever you like, and join in as much or as little as you would like. Nobody will ask you to stand up, to read anything out, or to give money.

Your children are welcome, noise and all.

Several families call Hope home. Children start the service in the room with everyone else, then head to their own groups from about 11am for songs, Bible stories, crafts and games.

There is a sofa at the back for nursing mothers, with a few quiet toys out. One parent is always allocated to help with the groups.

  • Groups for school-age children from 11am
  • Activity sheets to take home and talk about
  • A summer holiday club in the first week of the holidays
  • Youth meet fortnightly on Sunday evenings

Eating together

Start with breakfast.

On the third Sunday of the month we serve breakfast from 9.30 until 10.10, usually cooked, sometimes continental. We find it is a good chance to chat and make friends before the worship starts.

On the first Sunday we share a full two-course lunch after the service. You are very welcome to bring a friend who might not want to come to the service itself. That is rather the point of it.

  • Breakfast: third Sunday, from 9.30am
  • Community lunch: first Sunday, after the service
  • A pot for voluntary contributions, never a charge
  • Games for children and young people

Come and see.
